Lee Armstrong has over 20 years experience both behind and in front of the camera. She is currently puppeteering on a new PBS series, "Mustard Pancakes" and producing videos through IIM. Lee has a BA in English/theater and received two Canada Council Grants to study in New York and San Francisco. She worked on the Canadian Network TV for ten Years, including three years as puppeteer for Henson's Emmy award winning "Fraggle Rock". Moving to California, she worked for Viacom Cable for three years as public access coordinator, teaching producing and editing videos for Viacom. Lee is co-owner of Images In Motion Inc. She is the Recipient of two Regional Emmys, as a Producer, writer and puppeteer. Her work has been a key part of videos that have won awards from the National Education Media Network(NEMN), the NAtional Ad Council, the Telly Awards, a Unima Citation of Excellence and more. At Images In Motion she has produced videos for a variety of clients including, the Atterbury Foundation, the USDA Forest Service, and the East/West Institute. She manages the IIM shooting studio and commercial projects for clients such as Leapfrog Toys and Pixar. She is a TV consultant for Puppeteers of America.
